Handwriting Without Tears

Website Design & Development

HWT needed to integrate their multiple web sites into a single design; improve access to key content; allow more staff to write and edit content (without HTML); and add engaging member-only features.

We created a new Information Architecture that provided easy access to key content and customer functionality. Configured and converted site to Drupal, which allowed for a custom publishing workflow, site-wide search, secure advocate-only content, and future community features like forums and blogging. Also integrated the design into their external ecommerce sites.

Upon launching the site, sales have improved by greater than 25% within the first month, overall satisfaction is much higher, and the new advocate participation is off to a great start.

Since launching the site in early 2008 we have continued to work with Handwriting Without Tears adding additional functionality and improving the site. Eccommerce sales have increased another 15% to an overall 35% increase over a year ago.

As HWT continues to harness the power of the Internet to communicate effectively to their customers and potential customers, we have been their helping them manage the site and introduce compelling content and feature sets.
